![]() ![]() If someone in your workgroup upgrade the version of any software then the rest of the group cannot open the file saved by the upgrade-obsessive guy (everyone got one.) I migrated from W$ to Ubuntu for many reasons but one the main contribution to my migration is that all software there is not compatible with itself. Out of curiousity, what site are you trying to import from, and what errors, or behaviour, do you see exhibited? ![]() If the site you're trying to import from isn't currently listed, drop us a suggestion on our Feedback forum () and we'll do our best into looking into adding support for this site. This said, we currently only support importing documents from a select number of sites, as per our Import page (). Just as long as Firefox is up to date, and you have Javascript enabled. Our bookmarklet should be working fine with Firefox, regardless of your operating system. Some of us have gotten off the 6 month upgrade treadmill for the sake of better productivity. Mendeley folks if you are reading - _please_ do your best to support LTS releases for the duration. (Mendeley certainly makes keeping PDF's easier, but all I really need is the URI to find it again, not the actual PDF.)Īnyway, I cannot get the bookmarklet to work. Its easier simply to re-search than to keep a bunch of PDF's around. I do almost all of my reference searching and reading online rather than maintaining a PDF collection. This is _the_ killer feature (at least when it supports ISI) because it allows you to inject biblio metadata from the currently visited web page.
